Summary - Information:

A young, provincial woman who is passionate about painting moves in with a cousin in Paris.
Various meetings with female painters during her walks in Paris give her the courage to begin a painting herself.
This scene is the starting point of a detailed evocation and praise of female artists/painters in the 19th and 20th centuries, their works and the ‘feminine genius that drives them’.
